3663 use a company called Convert2Green to collect waste oil on their behalf. By recycling in this scheme, 3663 are able to convert this to a B30 bio diesel mix (30% bio fuel and 70% diesel) which fuels the lorries that deliver to you. This means that you are actively reducing your impact on the environment by cutting down on emissions in your supply chain and recycling a waste product for free at the same time.

What do you need to do to start recycling with 3663?

To request a FREE collection, please ask your usual 3663 Telesales executive. They will arrange for 3663's collection partner, Convert2Green, to contact you to introduce themselves and arrange your collection frequency with you - this is likely to be once a term. 

If you are already set up on the scheme and require a collection outside of your agreed collection days, then you may contact Convert2Green directly on 01606 833 330 - please quote '3663' at the time of the call to ensure your waste oil is recycled in this scheme.

What is the minimum collection amount?

The minimum collection quantity is 60 litres. Convert2Green operate a very flexible service, so can work with you to accommodate your needs. You may wish to join together to make up a group  of Schools in order to reach this threshold. Convert2Green will collect from a group in a similar location to make up the 60 litre collection threshold. 

You will be given a waste transfer note by the driver each time a collection is made. You are legally required to keep these in your records to demonstrate that your waste oil has been disposed of correctly. 

What do I recycle my oil in?

Ideally you should return the waste oil in the container it was delivered in. If you are unable to do this, then Convert2Green can provide you with a free on loan plastic barrel for storage outside - please contact Convert2Green directly on 01606 833 330 to arrange this, quoting the '3663' scheme. 

What do I do if my previous collector comes for my waste oil?

If you have been recycling your waste oil with Convert2Green, then there is no change, and Convert2Green will continue to collect your oil and recycle it as part of the 3663 scheme. If any other collector has been calling for your oil, please advise them that you no longer require them to collect from you.
